Nameless

Here’s death all around me, never gives up,

The fields are bloody red, but I see black,

Where I am is not certain, death, abrupt,

And there is my brother, with a coal sack.

My family missing, like a lost key,

But I know that there will be no locksmith,

We loved each other, now its misery,

Death all around me I thought it a myth.

I wish I was like that sparrow over there,

Flying with my wings, gliding over hills,

Perhaps a man on a gentle white mare,

Galloping away with all of the thrills.

Through the death I see the light, it will come,

Although the light, the future is fearsome.

YAY English homework -_-

I actually couldn't think of a name but nameless isn't bad for this poem :D

The Coming Storm

The Coming Storm

The sky so blue, you never believe,

That the storm was coming.

The grass so green, that it can deceive,

That the storm was coming.

The young colt, his legs can’t keep up with,

The storm that was coming,

He knows there is danger, it’s no myth

That the storm was coming.

The horses they run, and all that they know,

That the storm was coming.

They kick up dust, as comes the shadow,

That of the coming storm.

x Thank you to Nain for the picture inspiration and being so great over these years x

(Also sorry for the second verse, I dodged up my words but I can't bring myself to change it, it sounds to cool!)
